Job description:
BostonGene is a pioneer company that uses biomedical software to identify new and personalized treatment options with next-generation multi-platform analytics, improving and optimizing cancer patient outcomes. We develop a distributed information and analytical system that provides oncologists with the necessary data for diagnosis and personalized treatment of patients.

Job responsibilities

Required qualifications
- Student of the 2nd or 3rd year of study, Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics and Informatics degree preferably;
- Proficient in Python with an understanding of their respective knowledge base modules;
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and MVC architecture;
- Experience with web frameworks, such as Flask, FastAPI or similar technologies;
- Familiarity with microservices architecture;
- Experience with basic HTTP requests;
- General knowledge of REST API;
- Basic knowledge of SQL;
Nice to have:
- Basic understanding of threads and processes, including the Global Interpreter Lock (GIL) and architectural implications;
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, with a focus on dependency injection ;
- Familiarity with SQLAlchemy, an Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tool for Python.

Additional information
- Job type: Full-time or Part-time (starting from 20 working hours per week).
- Employment term: three-month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
