The Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the American University of Armenia (AUA) is seeking Assistant/Associate Professors in Marketing starting in the Fall of 2024. Full-time faculty positions at the AUA typically involve teaching three courses per semester, pursuing research activities, and providing university and public service. 

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the mentioned and related/interdisciplinary fields. Expanding one’s research portfolio is encouraged while engaging in cross-disciplinary synergies among the breadth of expertise at the University. In addition to teaching and research, faculty are expected to contribute to the community and university service for the advancement of the AUA mission and vision.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in the mentioned disciplines received from English-language programs in accredited universities;
• Teaching experience in a university setting;
• Experience in implementing innovative teaching techniques;
• Active record of research and scholarship;
• Experience in an international setting or teaching non-native English speakers is a plus.
• This is a full-time position requiring residence in Armenia.

Additional information

Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with university-wide pay scale, qualifications and experience. AUA offers competitive benefit packages. Foreign faculty will be offered a housing subsidy, health coverage and an annual round-trip airfare.
