As an architectural design specialist, you will play a key role in creating innovative, visually stunning, and functional architectural designs while assisting the Design Architect. Job responsibilities
- Create high-quality, realistic visualizations of architectural designs using industry-standard software. (Experience with animation is a plus!)
- Research and recommend the implementation of new materials, solutions, and architectural details to enhance design proposals.
- Assist the Design Architect in developing a comprehensive digital components library for efficient project development.
- Prepare drawings for the concept design stage, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications. Prepare architectural and interior design drawings, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and details using digital tools.
- Conduct site visits and surveys, gather information and ensure design feasibility.
- Develop visually compelling presentation materials such as mood boards, renderings, and presentations, utilizing strong visual/graphic skills. Develop design presentations and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Design Architect and other team members on various project tasks as needed to develop innovative and creative design solutions.
- Aesthetic supervision of later phases of the projects, to ensure adherence with the original design intent.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in architectural design and visualization software.
- Stay up-to-date on current architectural trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
- Contribute to the overall success of the project by meeting deadlines and adhering to budgets.
- Embrace opportunities to learn and grow through mentorship, professional development opportunities, and participation in a variety of projects.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an architectural design setting.
- Strong proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit)
- Strong proficiency in Architectural visualization software (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona). (Proficiency in Unreal Engine and/or Twinmotion is a plus.)
- Strong proficiency in visual/graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) (Experience with InDesign and Illustrator is a plus).
- Excellent visual and graphic presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, communication, collaboration, and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and functional designs.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and growth.
