You will collaborate with existing or potential customers to identify new, innovative ways of using geotechnology and help new users discover the value GIS can bring to their organization.

We’re looking for individuals who are customer oriented and collaborative team players who enjoy identifying and implementing strategies that will radically improve the challenges businesses face.

You’ll work closely with a team that helps our customers take advantage of location information to find unique patterns, trends, and understanding hidden within complex business problems.

Job responsibilities


  • Track Opportunities: Monitor and track national and international RFPs and business opportunities, qualify the suitable opportunities, and apply to them through proper proposal development and follow-ups.
  • Build relationships. Prospect, develop, and implement location strategies for organizations. Maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities for new and existing customers. Leverage social media to build your professional network. Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
  • Think strategically. Develop sales strategies and business development that employ direct and channel approaches to significantly expand the use of Esri’s solutions in Latin America. Ensure the continued success of key Esri solutions implementations in the region.
  • Be or become an expert. Clearly articulate the strength and value of GIS as it relates to the industry. Consistently conduct research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs.
  • Understand our customers. Demonstrate industry knowledge and its relevance to the application of GIS. Identify key stakeholders and business drivers for an organization. Understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
  • Deliver results. Successfully execute the account management and sales processes for all opportunities. Use consultative selling skills to understand the needs and business challenges of customers.
  • Collaborate with your team. Leverage your domain knowledge when working with cross-divisional teams to define and execute account strategies. Be motivated and resourceful and take initiative to resolve issues.

Required qualifications

Requirements

  • Background experience in business development processes and/or eagerness to develop a career in the area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with counterparts, represent the company solutions
  • Ability to manage the acquisition cycle including prospecting, proposing, closing, and further developing an account
  • Experience in responding to partners’ needs and requirements, as well as new potential opportunities
  • Highly -motivated individual with the ability to influence at the high level to build long term relationships, maintaining open communication throughout the organization
  • Understanding of GIS or willingness and ability to quickly learn the topic
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs and deliver business outcomes
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient fluency in English and Russian; knowledge of another language is preferable.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering, business administration, GIS, communications, economics or a related field, or equivalent work experience
