Job description:

The General Assembly (GA) and Executive Director (ED) of HKMBPO are looking for a mission-focused, seasoned, strategic, and process-minded leader with experience scaling an organization, leading an executive management team, and developing a performance culture among a group of diverse, talented individuals. The COO must be a leader who is able to help others at HKMBPO deliver measurable, cost-effective results that make the vision a reality.

Job responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Secretary of General Assembly (S-GA) of HKMBPO, the COO will lead all internal operations and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Working in partnership with the S-GA and ED, create the strategic five-year plan and implement new processes and approaches to achieve it.
  • Serve as the internal leader of the organization to ensure effective and efficient functioning of the organization overall, including but not limited to programs and human resources.
  • Regularly check for the RA state standards and regulatory updates, as well as industry standards, to ensure programs’ compliance; update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Maintain and develop program partnerships, increase key impact measurements for active programs.

Required qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Education: MBA (Master of Business Administration), MPA (Master of Public Affairs) or MSSM (Master of Science or Strategic Management) or similar advanced degree required.
  • 5-10 years of management experience of 20+ employees, human resources, and talent management with a nonprofit or for-profit organization. Experience in working with various NGOs, RA state bodies
  • Strong leadership skills, high moral, and ethical values; problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, and project management.
  • Results-proven track record of exceeding goals; high level of business acumen including successful P&L management; the ability to balance the delivery of programs on a budget.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, advanced conduct of Armenian and English required.

Additional information

Compensation: The salary of the COO is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The compensation amount includes state taxes and other mandatory withholdings, and is paid monthly, via direct deposit.
