Job responsibilities
- Data Processing: processing of flow cytometry data with Python-based framework developed in BostonGene. Improvement of method performance on both the standard sets of panels and a completely new set of advanced panels for immune profiling.
- Data Analysis: comparison of flow cytometry with other methods for analyzing leukocyte populations in blood (gene expression, deconvolution). Identification of common and conflicting trends and development of ways to improve convergence.
- Comparative Analysis: investigate cell populations' behavior in healthy donors and patients with solid and hematological tumors. Analyze and interpret data to identify differences, providing valuable insights for research and clinical applications.
Required qualifications
- Graduate/Undergraduate student in Computer science, Bioinformatics, Biology, Medicine, or other related field.
- Experience with Python programming language and libraries for data analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, SciPy).
- Motivation to find a long-term job in the biotech industry.
- Fluency in Russian for effective workplace communication, English level B1 or higher.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of statistics, mathematics, data science, immunology, oncology, and cellular biology.
- Experience working with wet lab methods (e.g., cell culturing, sequencing, immunohistochemistry) and flow cytometry.
