Job description:

SQL Database Developer will be responsible for the performance, integrity, queries and procedures and creating custom reports of databases based on MS SQL/PostgreSQL Server. Additional role requirements include designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

Job responsibilities

Develop high quality database solutions
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL, PL/SQL
Assist in maintaining and improving database operational efficiency
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
Write complex queries for applications and business intelligence reporting
Responsible for integration with other systems and various reporting requirements
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and resolve problems
ETL
Test the developed solutions

Required qualifications

BS degree (preferably Computer Science or equivalent);
At least 2 years of work experience in the sphere;
Experience with MS SQL Server 2012/2016 and higher, PostgreSQL, including use of query analyzer, stored procedures, jobs and profiler;
Experience in PL/SQL, T-SQL;
Understanding of query execution plans;
Good understanding of indexing, querying, and normalization
Good understanding of relational database management system
Ability to extract data from a data warehouse and package according to user needs;
Experience with Power BI and SSRS;
Familiarity with managing data in Excel;
Understanding of XML/JSON;
Good knowledge of English language;
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to make quick and independent decisions;
Active team player
Commitment to work and a sense of responsibility
