The enterprise architect plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and fostering innovation. The role of the EA is one of guidance, advice and oversight.

Job responsibilities
- Develops an architecture roadmap that supports bank’s strategic objectives and facilitates digital transformation.
- Analyzes bank’s future-state capabilities and future (and current) IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Develops architectural standards and minimum viable architectures.
- Develops and implements of architecture related processes and procedures.
- Prepares architectural decisions such as the selection of major technologies, platforms, frameworks, or architectural patterns.
- Collaborates with businesses to keep Technology architecture current and continuously evolving based on business needs.
- Communicates Technology and architectural standards and Enterprise objectives and transformation roadmaps to key stakeholders and product teams.
- Ensures the core enterprise architecture team works closely with extended team members and architects across the organization.
- Leverages data analytics to inform architectural decisions and optimize services.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is preferred
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in IT (including architectural or IT management roles) or financial services
- Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies and trends
- Understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of API-first architecture, microservices delivery platforms, DevOps and Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture of a fintech
- Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills with exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
