Job description:

Galaxy Group of Companies is looking for a General Manager for one of our Restaurants to organize daily operations and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity;
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate waste;
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to all units and take corrective actions as needed;
  • Provide strategic direction and support to branch operations to ensure consistency and alignment with company objectives;
  • Collaborate with branch network management to implement sales and marketing strategies at the local level;
  • Implement effective communication channels within the organization to ensure that issues are promptly reported and escalated as necessary;
  • Regularly review issue resolution processes and strategies to identify areas for improvement. Solicit feedback from employees and stakeholders to gather insights and make necessary adjustments;
  • Identify opportunities for expansion or consolidation within the branch network to optimize market coverage;
  • Manage financial performance and resources to achieve company goals and objectives;
  • Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reporting systems;
  • Implement financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard company assets;
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies with marketing team to promote brand awareness, drive sales, and enhance customer loyalty;
  • Conduct periodical market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitive threats;
  • Utilize digital marketing channels and traditional advertising methods to reach target audiences effectively;
  • Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness;
  • Implement strategies to optimize production capacity and meet demand fluctuations;
  • Ensure the strong maintenance of product quality standards;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology upgrades to enhance productivity;
  • Manage the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement and inventory management to distribution and logistics;
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services;
  • Optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency;
  • Implement sustainability initiatives and risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions;
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance unit to establish robust quality control processes, monitor performance metrics, and address any issues or deviations promptly.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, or business administration;
  • Minimum of 3 years of executive leadership experience (in the food and beverage industry will be a huge plus), with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and profitability;
  • Previous Armenian market experience is a must;
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, make strategic decisions, and manage risk effectively;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and inspire teams;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive innovation, and execute complex business initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to cope with stress, heavy workload, and challenging work hours;
  • Dynamic, resourceful, and problem solver;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required;
  • Up to date with the local trends.
