Job description:

The incumbent will be responsible for management of operational and IT risks: identification, assessment, analysis, monitoring/control and mitigation.

Job responsibilities

• Identification, assessment and monitoring of operational and IT risks inherent to the Bank's business processes and IT systems
• Operational and IT risk management methodology and framework development and management, management principles and standards periodical review and development, best practice implementation
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis and assessment of operational and IT risks to determine the likelihood and impact of an identified risk,
• Operational/IT risk mitigation actions and control set up and monitoring, evaluation of their risk mitigation efficiency
• Risks stress scenario development, development and implementation of key risk indicators
• Development and implementation of recovery plans
• Operational risk loss events and IT incidents’ database management and analysis
• Development and maintenance of the system of operational limits and authorities
• Risk reporting and development of the relevant tools
• Risk insurance management (BBB, cyber, property, liability policies, etc.)
• Other duties related to risk management functions as assigned by the supervisor

Required qualifications

• University degree in finance, business administration, IT/technical field, economics or other related field
• At least 4 years of work experience in bank Operational Risk Management, IT (programing or IT systems administration) and IT Security spheres
• Knowledge of Operational and IT Risk Management standards, best practices, banking laws and regulations
• Knowledge and practice of enterprise IT systems architecture (platforms, networks, applications, databases and operating systems)
• Knowledge of information security concepts and principles, including confidentiality, integrity and availability of information
• Practice and experience of risk assessment methodologies (statistical analyses, scoring, self-assessment, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, risk transfer, etc.), stress scenario development, risk control and mitigation approaches, analysis techniques (gap, cost-benefit, root cause), BI reporting; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and AS Bank 4.0
• Excellent knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English
