Does the idea of taking on the mission of enhancing TUMO's voice and presence through online and offline channels inspire and motivate you?
We are seeking a skilled PR Specialist to join TUMO’s Communications, Events and PR Department. As a PR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting and enhancing TUMO’s reputation through effective communication strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing PR campaigns, managing media relations, working with the communications team on compelling content creation, and supporting various marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in public relations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and technology.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of TUMO.
- Monitor media coverage and conduct regular analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of PR efforts, as well as manage media relations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and promote newsworthy stories, events, and achievements.
- Organize and coordinate press conferences, media interviews, and other PR events.
- Assist in crisis communication management and develop strategies to mitigate potential reputational risks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and developments related to education, technology, and youth culture.
- Support marketing initiatives by providing PR expertise and content creation for promotional materials.
- Closely collaborate with communications and events teams, to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Measure and report on the success of PR campaigns and initiatives to upper management.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a PR Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of PR principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Armenian and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and influencers.
- Proficient in using PR and media monitoring tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge in the fields of education and technology is highly desirable.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
