Our client is one of the leading reinsurance service providers across the globe.
DataArt was selected as a key technology partner in the realization of the client's IT modernization roadmap in 2023 and beyond.
This is one of the ongoing projects. DataArt Engineers will join client's teams to strengthen the tech, process, and quality expertise.
This is an early stage of engagement, so the successful candidate will be one of the first team members from the DataArt side. There are 3-4 client teams of 5-8 developers who will join. Teams are led by client representatives.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Engineer. You will join Modelling Platform Consolidation (MPC) team on the migration of a sophisticated stack of on-premises analytical & modeling services into the AWS cloud.

Աշխատանքային պարտականություններ
- Design and develop AWS-enabled solutions using Python as the main programming language
- Ensure newly developed applications have sufficient test coverage with a strong preference towards automated test suites
- Ensure application observability using standard AWS tools and services
- Collaborate with the broader development team on shared architecture, best practices, and development culture
- Provide guidance on the technological and methodological direction of systems in support of business strategies
Անհրաժեշտ հմտություններ
- Working experience in AWS Platform (or other cloud service like Microsoft Azure)
- Knowledge of PySpark and AWS
- Proficiency in SQL (essential)
- Experience working with AWS Redshift (or other MPP databases such as Azure Synapse, Teradata, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience working with AWS S3 (or other cloud-based storage services)
- Deep experience working with RDMS (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Data Mesh concepts
- A passion for learning new concepts and technologies
